O regresso do "Deus"

ExampleNa BBC:"Striker Rashidi Yekini is expected to return to action in the Nigerian league with Gateway FC.
Segun Odegbami, the former Nigeria captain, who is the club's chairman, told BBC Sport he expects the former African Footballer of the Year to complete a formal deal after talks on Thursday. The Abeokuta-based side is trying to establish itself in Nigeria's top division after their promotion last season. "Yekini is coming on board and he is expected to sign a one-year contract," Odegbami told BBC Sport. "We need a player of his calibre to bring excitement back to our football. "We know that the sharpness is no longer there but we need someone of his calibre to give us some buzz." Should the 41-year-old sign a deal with Gateway, it will be the second Nigerian club he will feature for, after ending his European club career. One of the most prolific strikers in the history of African football, Yekini played for Ivorian side Africa Sport, Portugal's Vitoria Setubal and Olympiakos of Greece. "Ye-king", as he was popularly known in his heydays, had a stint with Julius Berger during the 2003 season but differences with coach Fatai Amoo forced him to quit.
He was a member of the Nigerian national team that won the 1994 African Cup of Nations and went on to play at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups. "
